LLS/Education Members – Redeployment matrix
After extensive talks both with the department and the council at a corporate level, we have been unable to reach agreement on an alternative to the redeployment matrix. UNISON has however secured agreement that all information gathered using the matrix will be checked for accuracy by the personnel team.
It is important to note that the matrix is only the starting point of a process and you have the right to appeal the outcome. As a result of assurances given today and in the interests of a speedy end to the uncertainty that a lot of members are facing, UNISON are now advising classroom assistant and school clerical assistant members to fill in the matrix if they have not already done so.
