Please see letter issued to all buildings with janitorial staff today regarding a janitorial meeting. As you know we usually write direct to our members at their home address but as this is a Joint Trade Union mailing to members of all 3 unions, we felt that this approach was for the best.

Dear Members
Following a meeting of the Joint Trade Unions’ (JTU) janitorial stewards, I am writing to advise you of a joint meeting to discuss the 2009 janitorial collective agreement, and other issues of concern.
The meeting has been agreed for:-
Sunday 30 November 2014 at 10am
Rochsolloch Primary School, Bellsdyke Street, Airdrie, ML6 9DW
Agenda items for discussion are:-
1. General 5 day limit on annual leave outwith school holiday time
2. Overtime distribution
3. Keyholding issues
4. Potential further restrictions on annual leave
The JTU’s intention is to have a full discussion on the above issues with as many of our members as possible. As such, I’d appreciate you making the effort to attend on the day.
