Dear Ellen/Lorraine
With reference to our meeting of 27 May and Ellen’s undertaking to investigate the circumstances surrounding many of our job share members not being granted interview due to issues with the application forms, it has come to my attention that you intend to begin informing candidates on whether they have been successful or not tomorrow.
In light of Ellen’s investigations and our request that you somehow resolve the issue UNISON would insist that you do not carry out this exercise until the issues that our members have experienced are fully investigated and resolved.
Whilst we appreciate that this will delay the process, we must act to ensure that our members are not unduly disadvantaged.
