We can clarify the situation on some rumours which are circulating regarding a meeting on equal pay tomorrow.
A Council Policy & Resources Committee is meeting tomorrow at 2pm in the Civic Centre to discuss a normal agenda. However, added to this agenda is a discussion on equal pay, and that point all members of the public will be asked to leave the meeting. No papers have been made publicly available for this meeting.
We have no further information on the matter at this point, our position and campaign remains unaffected until such times as we are formally contacted by NLC to begin talks on settling the cases.
