Do you want to find out more about your union?

Do you want to get more out of your union?

Have you thought about becoming more involved in your union?

UNISONs membership is over 70% female and we are keen to get more women in- volved. We are organising a Pathways Course in the Lanarkshire area. This course is aimed at women members who would like to find out more about their union and see how the skills they already have can be used in a union setting.

Pathways into UNISON is your chance to find out all you need to know and explore the many different ways to get involved and get more out of your union.

The course is run over 2 days in a local venue.

You don’t need qualifications and courses are very informal and relaxed. Women who

participated previously said,

I met lots of interesting people and at the Pathways course in Stirling, I found out a lot of things the union can do for you.”

Having been a member for 20 years I learned more about UNISON in that weekend

than I had in the 20 years as a member, well recommended.

If you think you may be interested in coming along to our course, or want to find out more about it please contact UNISON on 01698 276291

The course will take place on 18th & 19th May 2016 at the Moorings Hotel, Motherwell

Where teas, coffees and lunch will be provided, as will travel expenses
