UNISON North Lanarkshire supports the moves by Glasgow City UNISON to defend members pay and conditions by calling a 48 hour strike. We recognise the similarities between their employers attempts to cut take home pay at a time when we are in talks with NLC over their proposals to cut all enhancements to basic pay.
We stand with our colleagues in Glasgow against these cuts to take home pay, and remain committed to take whatever action is required to protect our members in North Lanarkshire.
