As you may know, NLC has released a document that will allow them to make £45.6m of cuts over the next 2 years.

They will be considering options that will result in up to 1,500 job losses, privatisation of services and wage cuts. This is the biggest attack on our members that we have ever faced and we are ready for the challenge.

We will be holding a rally against the cuts at the Civic Centre at 12.30 on Wednesday 28th October and we want as many members as possible to attend. Come along and defend your job!

Meetings to discuss the cuts have been arranged for all UNISON members on:-

Monday 2nd November at 7pm – St Andrews High, Coatbridge
Tuesday 3rd November at 7pm – New Town Hall, Cumbernauld
Wednesday 4th November at 7pm – GLO Centre, Motherwell

Please come along and have your points heard and questions answered.

We need to stand together to make our voices heard. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, website and your e-mail inbox for updates in the meantime.

Join the fight with UNISON!
