NHS Lanarkshire is asking for help from patients in the community to help protect their staff.
- If you receive a health or social care service at home, or you will be present at friend or family member’s home visit, you must inform the NHS by phone before the visit if you are displaying any coronavirus symptoms.
This vital information will allow staff to take the necessary steps to protect their health and reduce the potential spread of the virus to other patients and service users.

- Caring for people in communities – plea for crucial contact to be kept to one-person only
People who are currently not at work or are at home are being asked to help where possible, to allow other people who don’t have support to be prioritised. If someone can help, please ensure that just one person provides this help to cut down the chances of transmitting the virus.
